Outside Air Flows
Verifying minimum outside air rates per AS 1668.2 for ventilation compliance.
Occupied spaces need a minimum amount of outside air. We measure what each system is bringing in and confirm it meets the design rate.
What we do on site
- Measure outside air at the intake or outside air duct for each system.
- Set and verify minimum outside air damper positions.
- Compare the measured rate for each system with the design requirement.
When it’s needed
- Handover of new and refurbished systems.
- A change in occupancy or layout that puts more people in a space than the original design allowed for.
- When evidence of ventilation rates is needed for certification.
- Complaints of stuffy or stale air.
What you receive
A report showing design and measured outside air rates for each system tested.
